The Scion xB is manufactured by Toyota in United States and it is marketed under the Scion brand, just like its other counterparts, xA, and xC. The Scion xB is a compact five door hatchback.
First generation (2004-2006)
The first-generation Scion xB shared the concept of a Japanese compact car called Toyota bB. The Scion xB was a rebadged and modified version of the Toyota bB. The xB is one among the top line models manufactured by Toyota Scion division; the xB model was launched in the year 2004.

Second generation (2007-Present)
The second generation is also known as the present generation. The 2nd generation Scion xB is a five door version car. The compact is presented in an auto show held in New York. The Toyota revealed the Scion xB in 2007. The Scion xB is very small in shape and larger compared to its previous versions.
Scion t 2B
The Scion t 2B is one of the concept cars unveiled by Toyota off-late; the Scion t 2B will be manufactured in Five Axis Models in California. The Scion t 2B includes a sophisticated 2.4 Liter engine, paired to a four speed auto-transmission. The car is also incorporated with 20 inch billet aluminum wheels, LED fog lamps, and 14” brakes with rotors.
Engines
The Scion t 2B uses a 2.4Liter AZ engine capable of delivering 50 % more power. The fuel efficiency is up to 22 mpg in city and 28 mpg on highways. The fuel consumption is considerably lower in comparison to the previous models.
Transmissions
The factory options for both the models are almost same, and they’re equipped with five speed manual transmission & a four speed auto-transmission shift.
Features
In all the 2008 Scion versions, you can find 3 head units. The Scion is equipped with typical iPod connectivity and six speakers; the base head comprises of AAD CD compatibility, WMA, MP3.
The base unit is very much compatible with the three models in Scion lineup; the three models include an optional Automatic Sound Levelizer, which increases the volume according to the noisy conditions automatically.

• In 2005, the Scion xB RS 2.0 was the only model manufactured in solar yellow color with about 2500 units produced in that year,

• Scion xB RS 4.0 was manufactured and released in the year 2007 in Goldish brown color and nearly 2500 units were manufactured
• In 2008 , Scion RS 5.0 was released in Gold Rush Mica color with total production of 2500 units.
• In 2009, Scion RS 6.0 was launched in red color and nearly 2500 units were manufactured.
• Scion RS 7.0 is released for the year 2010, with a 4-piece DAMD- body kit; the car is manufactured only in one color called purple, and about 2000 units will be produced this year.
